dhalia.fun is a games site for families. We collect as little as we can, we never sell data, and children never need an account. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep and why.
Who we are
dhalia.fun and its apps, including SpellWay, are made by Jonathan Calderon, an independent developer, who is responsible for the data described here. You can reach him at any time through the contact details at the end of this page.
Analytics on the website
The website counts which pages and games are used (for example page views, game starts and shares) with our own first-party analytics. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not build profiles, and we never sell data.
What stays on your device
Games save progress, scores and settings in your browser's local storage, and the site remembers your language. This stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.
Forms and messages
If you send the Custom Games form or write to us, we keep your contact details and message so we can answer. Please do not include personal information about children.
Children
Children can play without an account and are never asked for personal information inside games. There are no ads, no chat and no social features for kids, and a grown-up check comes before any purchase.
The dhalia.fun app
The dhalia.fun app for iOS and Android uses only the device features it needs: the system Share sheet, Haptics (vibration), app links, and Preferences to keep a parent's sign-in on the device. It contains no ads, no advertising ID (IDFA) and no third-party crash or analytics SDKs.
SpellWay apps (iOS, Android, desktop)
SpellWay saves your progress, stars, achievements and settings only on your device. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it sends nothing to dhalia.fun. The full game is bought through the App Store or Google Play: the store handles the payment, and the app only receives a yes or no for the purchase (we never see card details). A grown-up check comes before any purchase or restore. On Steam, achievements are shared with Steam. Uninstalling the app deletes its data.
Deleting your data
A parent can delete their account from the Account page or the app: this removes the adult email and signs out every device. For anything else, write to us and we will delete it. Shop receipts are kept without the email, because the law asks us to keep sales records.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you or your family, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
Shop orders
When a grown-up orders a print from the Shop, the uploaded artwork stays private. Unfinished uploads are deleted after 7 days and the files of completed orders after 90 days. Our print partner receives only what it needs to make and ship the order. Game scores never change a price or unlock a product.
Shop payments and refunds
dhalia.fun is the seller of Shop orders, and we never store card numbers. For a refund or a problem with an order, write to us with your order or shipping reference.
Zoom and touch
Pages and the app allow pinch-zoom. Inside a game, pinch-zoom is turned off so play stays usable; the page around the game can still be zoomed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also announced on the site.
